1. DMCA Compliance
Buffstreams respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We respond to valid DMCA takedown notices in accordance with applicable law.
2. Our Role
Buffstreams operates as an aggregation platform that provides links to publicly available streaming content hosted by third parties. We do not host, upload, or control any streaming content directly.
3. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content accessible through Buffstreams infringes your copyright, please provide a DMCA takedown notice with the following information:
3.1 Required Information
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the specific content and location on our site
- Your contact information (address, phone, email)
- A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized
- A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
- Statement that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the removed content and its former location
- A statement under penalty of perjury of good faith belief
- Your contact information
- Consent to jurisdiction of federal court
5. Repeat Infringers
Buffstreams maintains a policy of terminating access for users who are repeat copyright infringers.
6. Contact for DMCA Notices
DMCA notices should be sent to our designated agent through our contact page with "DMCA Notice" in the subject line.
7. Processing Time
We aim to process valid DMCA takedown notices within 24-48 hours of receipt. Please allow reasonable time for review and action.
8. False Claims
Please note that submitting false or misleading DMCA notices may result in legal liability under federal law.
